In the 1938 PGA Championship held at Shawnee, Paul Runyan defeated Sam Snead 8 and 7 in the title match during the tournament’s era of match play. Today, the resort hosts the Shawnee Open, a sanctioned point tournament for the Philadelphia Section of the PGA. The greats played here, so can you!
