Our guest rooms at the Main Inn have received a fresh new look.

Built in 1911, the historic Main Inn features 80 guest rooms in a variety of configurations including, two double beds, one queen bed, one king bed, a double suite, a king suite, and a king Jacuzzi™ suite. Each guest room boasts the comforts of home in an old-world setting.

The Main Inn is the most convenient place to stay at Shawnee for access to amenities. Our River Room Restaurant, Buckwood Café, Fitness Center, Business Center, Arcade, Spa & Salon, Golf Shop, Meeting Rooms & Brewery are all enclosed within or attached to the Main Inn.

Guests enjoy lodging in the Main Inn to fully experience the history of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Public area corridors are lined with historic photography of Shawnee throughout the century. Guest rooms, meeting facilities, restaurants, & our grand veranda all emanate a feeling of history.

Due to the historic nature of our resort, most our guest rooms in the Main Inn have a step-up into the bathroom. The step is painted a different color to set it apart from the other areas of the room. The original construction of the resort was without plumbing for the bathroom. Since the walls are 12 inch thick steel reinforced concrete, the plumbing had to be put in by building up the floor, hence the step.  Safety first.

At this time only registered service animals are permitted to stay.

Does staying at the Delaware Lodge, cottages, or glamping include access to the indoor pool?

Yes! All overnight guests of the Shawnee Inn (regardless of room type) have access to the indoor pool.

Is the Delaware Lodge, cottages, and glamping sites walkable to the Main Inn?

Yes! Delaware Lodge, Glamping and our luxury cottages are all just a short walk to the Main Inn.
